LOADCONTROL Mobile

On-board weighing system for wheel loaders

A weighing system for wheel loaders and similar machines with a hydraulic lifting system. It measures the pressure in the hydraulics as the load rises, so the weight is calculated during loading itself — no separate weighing operation is needed.

Readings, records of loaded vehicles and reports live in an Android app: the system counts the lifts, totals the loaded weight and ties it to a vehicle, an order, a material and a counterparty.

Installation

How the system is fitted to a machine

The pressure sensors are tapped into the lift hydraulics through a fitting (tee or flange), the processing modules are mounted on the frame and the terminal goes in the cab. The kit is adapted to the hydraulics of the specific machine.

Operating modes

Two ways to weigh

01

Dynamic

Weighing on the move, without stopping the boom — the loading cycle is not slowed down.

02

Batching

Mass control while discharging material — useful when a railcar or truck body has to be topped up exactly.

Accuracy

Adjustable weighing zone

The weighing zone is the stretch of the boom's lifting path where the system measures weight. It is narrower than the boom's full travel and is configured for the specific machine and working conditions — from 20 to 50 degrees — so the measurement always happens on the most stable part of the lift.

The angle is set once during commissioning and needs no attention from the operator during everyday work.

Accuracy depends on the condition of the hydraulics, the configured weighing angle and how carefully the operator works.

The loader frame tilts up to 10 degrees on sloped ground — the boom stays fixed, the weighing system compensates for the error
Technology

Frame tilt compensation

The on-board weighing system is fitted with an inclinometer of Sakha-prom's own design, mounted on the loader frame. A built-in algorithm compensates for the error that occurs when the loader works on sloped ground, within 10 degrees.

The operator does not have to look for level ground — the system accounts for the machine's tilt on its own and still shows an accurate weight.
